- A spatial variant map of shape parameter 'kappa' of the IDF curves for the Lesvos island was created. It was constructed in the ArcMap environment with spatial interpolation between the parameters of IDF curves for the stations of Agia Paraskevi, Akrasi, University of the Aegean and Sigri using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) interpolation method.
The IDF curves for the four stations of Lesvos were constructed by entering historical rainfall data with a ten-minute step in the "Hydrognomon" software and using the statistical distribution of GEV-max (kappa specified, L-Moments).
